Like most recent university graduates, Lydia is unsure of her future. She spends her days interning at an art gallery, wandering the streets of London, and attempting to befriend the artists who share her studio space. She is also very, very hungry, because unlike the rest of her peers, Lyd is a vampire, and she can’t seem to find anything (or anyone) to satiate her cravings. Kohda's novel is a lovely meditation on human connection, our relationship to food, and the repercussions of choices we do (or don’t) make.
