SOLD OUT **NEW DATE: Bob Woodward - Fear — In conversation with Michael Schmidt at GW Lisner Auditorium

Upcoming Event
Thursday, September 27, 2018 - 7:00pm

Due to an unforeseen scheduling conflict, we’ve had to move both the date and venue for the Bob Woodward event. He is no longer available on the originally scheduled date of Monday, September 24 at Sidwell Friends Meeting House. So the event has been moved to Thursday, September 27, at GWU's Lisner Auditorium at 7 p.m.

One of the benefits of this change, which involves a larger venue, is that now many more people will be able to attend. Tickets will be available for purchase to P&P members on Thursday, September 13 at noon. Additional tickets will become open to the public on Friday, September 14 noon. Regrettably, if you’re not already a P&P member but would like to become one, we can’t guarantee we’ll be able to process your application in time to qualify for a ticket purchase on Thursday.

Those of you already holding tickets for what was to have been the Woodward event at Sidwell will have your tickets transferred to the new venue automatically. If you’re unable to attend on September 27, please call Brown Paper Tickets at 1-800-838-3006 and request a refund before midnight on Thursday, September 13. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we hope to see you at the event!

Bob Woodward, one of the most notable journalists and non-fiction authors in the country, is best known for his original news reporting on the Watergate scandal in the 1970s with fellow reporter Carl Bernstein. Since then, he has authored eighteen books on American politics, twelve of which have topped best-seller lists, won a Pulitzer as the lead reporter for his coverage of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, and he became associate editor of The Washington Post. His latest book, Fear: Trump in the White House, is the most intimate portrait of a sitting president ever published during the first years in office. Woodward draws from hundreds of hours of interviews with firsthand sources, meeting notes, personal diaries, files, and documents. This inside look at the Trump presidency is told as only Bob Woodward can tell it: with authoritative reporting and unflinching honesty. Woodward will be in conversation with Michael Schmidt, two-time Pulitzer Prize-winning American journalist and correspondent for The New York Times.

THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT.

We are no longer able to take orders for signed copies of this book in advance of the event.
