Author of the groundbreaking Big Girls Don’t Cry, an acclaimed look at women’s roles in the 2008 elections, Traister has focused on women in the media, politics, and entertainment for a wide range of publications, including The Nation, The New Republic, The Washington Post, and others; she’s also a writer at large for New York Magazine and a contributing editor at Elle.
