The highly anticipated new novel, Mercy Street, by acclaimed New York Times bestselling author Jennifer Haigh—“a gifted chronicler of the human condition” (Washington Post Book World)—is a tense, riveting story about the disparate lives that intersect at a women’s clinic in Boston.

Jennifer Haigh is the author of the highly acclaimed novels Mrs. Kimble, Baker Towers, The Condition, Faith and Heat and Light, and a book of short stories, News from Heaven. Her books have won the PEN/Hemingway Award, the Massachusetts Book Award and the PEN New England Award in Fiction, and have been published in eighteen languages. Jennifer Haigh is a Guggenheim Foundation Fellow and won a Literature Award from the American Academy of Arts and Letters.

Haigh will be joined in conversation with, Andre Dubus III, the author of Gone So Long, Dirty Love, The Garden of Last Days, House of Sand and Fog (a #1 New York Times bestseller, Oprah’s Book Club pick, and finalist for the National Book Award), and Townie, winner of an American Academy of Arts and Letters Award in Literature. His writing has received many honors, including a Guggenheim Fellowship, a National Magazine Award, and two Pushcart Prizes. He lives with his family north of Boston.
