P&P Live! Fabienne Marsh — JULIETTE, RISING - with Jeff Greenfield

Upcoming Event
Thursday, February 11, 2021 - 7:00pm

Marsh's latest novel, Juliette, Rising, follows a New Yorker transplanted to Portland for a teaching job as she journeys through single parenthood, orphanhood, widowhood, new love, neurotic parents, beloved students, and a life-altering bereavement group. Along the way, Juliette blends her acerbic wit with an admirable willingness to sit in her sadness and we gain entrance to what the other side of grief looks like.

Additionally, the second edition of Single, White Cave Man, originally published in 2002, is the story of Jim Rosso, a 38-year-old suburban divorcé, who finds himself alone, uncoupled, and dating for the first time since college.

Fabienne Marsh is the author of four novels and numerous works of non-fiction. Her film credits have appeared on dozens of documentary films and she has taught writing at both Johns Hopkins University and the University of Minnesota.

Marsh will be in conversation with Jeff Greenfield, an award-winning television journalist and author focusing on politics, media, and culture. He has served as a senior political correspondent for CBS, a senior analyst for CNN, and a political and media analyst for ABC News.
