“One. Only one. The story starts with one.”
On the way to a community tree planting ceremony, one girl explains the elements of the universe from the faraway stars to the tiny organisms we can only see with a microscope. As the girl and her friends make their trip to do one small thing to help our one special planet, they learn about the Big Bang, Earth’s atmosphere, oceans, trees, and bugs. In Only One, a gorgeously illustrated science picture book about our universe, young readers and listeners are encouraged to protect and preserve the environment.
