In Black Magic, Chad tells his own incredible story while also interviewing other Black leaders, scientists, artists, business people, parents, innovators, and champions, to get their take on Black magic. This revelatory book uncovers Black experiences in predominantly white environments while demonstrating the importance of staying true to yourself.

Chad Sanders is a writer, director, actor, and musician based in New York City. Previously, Chad worked at Google and YouTube and as a tech entrepreneur. Chad’s op-ed pieces have appeared in The New York Times, SLAM magazine, and Teen Vogue. Chad is a graduate of Morehouse College. He was born and raised in Silver Spring, Maryland.

Dr. Nicole M. Cooper currently serves as Head of Healthcare Policy at Lyft. In this role, she develops and manages Lyft's national healthcare policy agenda while expanding Lyft's presence in the healthcare sector. Since 2016, Lyft has worked with healthcare organizations across the country to help communities in need — including low-income individuals, the elderly, and people with disabilities — travel to health services, such as dialysis treatment, chemotherapy, and prenatal care.

Abdul Harris: Dulo's work in the acting and comedy arena has captured and compiled a growing social media following trekking in on close to 2 Million supporters across all platforms. Well known for his role as "Tunde" in the viral web series, " African Booty Scratcher" with close to 10 Million streams, Dulo has also made a strong presence on the comedy stage. Hosting events worldwide, including The Hollywood African Prestigious Awards housed at the Alex Theater, alongside Actress Kim Whitley from Next Friday, performing at the Comedy Store for Crack Um Up Thursday as well as The Hollywood Improv. Dulo was also a reoccuring personality on the Wildin' Out segment of The Roland Martin News Show on TV ONE shot in NBC Studios in D.C. Dulo is currently working as an exclusive creator with PRO FOOTBALL NETWORK, (ProFootball.com) the Hub for exclusive NFL, NCAA, CFL Highlights, News and Updates.

Andre McCain is a native of Washington, DC and the founder of HalfSmoke, a modern-day gourmet sausage restaurant in the vibrant Shaw neighborhood of Washington, DC. After working for three of the nation’s top real estate and investment firms, McCain was fueled by his belief that the restaurant business gives one the opportunity to make a profound impact on the lives of thousands of people every single day.
