Nina Lorez Collins - What Would Virginia Woolf Do?: And Other Questions I Ask Myself as I Attempt to Age Without Apology — in conversation with Madhulika Sikka — at Politics and Prose at The Wharf

Upcoming Event
Monday, April 16, 2018 - 7:00pm to 8:00pm

Uneasy about facing her forties alone, Collins, a veteran of the publishing industry, started a Facebook group where women could vent their feelings about aging, exchange advice, and cheer each other on as they moved into the second half of life. With the ironic and intriguing name of What Would Virginia Woolf Do? the group has attracted some 10,000 members. Drawing on these lively, irreverent, and witty discussions, Collins’s book covers topics ranging from hormones and perimenopause to empty nests, fashion, skincare, and sex.

Collins will be in conversation with Madhulika Sikka, PBS Public Editor and creator of the 52weeks52books52women podcast.
