Stevie Bell, who solved the case of Truly Devious, needs a break from the doldrums of senior year at Ellingham Academy. When her boyfriend David invites her and her best friends to visit him in England for a week studying abroad, they manage to get permission and are off on a new adventure. Soon they have met Izzy, David’s classmate whose aunt was involved in an unsolved double-murder in 1995. It was assumed to be a burglary gone wrong, but Izzy’s aunt Angela saw something she can’t explain. This was no break-in. Someone is lying. Once again, Stevie’s love of mysteries brings her close to a murder. Can she thaw out this cold case?
