A golem, a window to another world, Baba Yaga, the staff of Moses, and a crystalline shell provide inspiration in five powerful stories about finding hope and courage during the darkest of modern times: the Holocaust. These figures from Jewish folklore change the lives of ordinary people in action-packed, powerful graphic stories. Each narrative is followed by compelling historical facts and biographies.
