About the Book:
A school assignment about the appropriateness of the middle school mascot prompts six young people to question themselves, tradition, and discrimination. Set against a timely national issue, debate in this small Virgina town turns ugly and forces everyone to choose sides. Told from multiple perspectives, will these teens from various backgrounds be torn apart or be able to find commonality among themselves?
