Bisnow is a former FTC commissioner and chief of staff of the President’s Council of Economic Advisers, but her main qualifications for writing this book are her two sons. One founded Summit Series, a conference for young entrepreneurs, while the other started the band Magic Giant; together, the brothers formed the nonprofit Get Well Soon Tour. Combining her experience with that of sixty other parents of similarly innovative young people-- Maimah Karmo of Tigerlily Foundation, Kevin Plank of UnderArmour, Jessica Jackley of Kiva-- Bisnow has collected a trove of inspiring stories, from which she has distilled a list of ten keys for raising self-confident and creative individuals.
