Margaux Bergen - Navigating Life: Things I Wish My Mother Had Told Me
Bergen has seen a lot of the world in her work with Vital Voices, the World Bank, and the Center for Interfaith Action on Global Poverty, and when her daughter Charlotte was only nine, Bergen began thinking about how she could help her “cope with life’s more extreme circumstances.” Bergen’s answer was to gather her own experiences and distill from them the lessons and insights she wished she’d had earlier. So when Charlotte graduated from high school, along with the diploma she received this compendium of advice, inspiration, and love—a book of her mother’s hopes and wishes for her children.
