Called “a national newsmaker” by The New York Times, Duca, who writes the “Thigh-High Politics” column for Teen Vogue and serves as visiting scholar at New York University’s Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute, has become a voice for the millennial generation with her award-winning journalism. In her book she combines her own experience with first-hand reporting to show how young people are already changing the world. Tracking her generation’s move from political alienation to political participation, she profiles the work of groundbreakers including Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Parkland survivors David and Lauren Hogg, Amanda Litman, and many more.
Duca will be in conversation with Charlotte Clymer, activist, writer, and press secretary for rapid response at the Human Rights Campaign.
