Join contributors Kyle Dargan, Cave Canem and Hurston/Wright Legacy award winner, the author of books including Honest Engine, and associate professor of literature at American; celeste doaks, a journalist, author of the poetry collection Cornrows and Cornfields, and contributor to Not Without our Laughter; and Denise Low, former Kansas poet laureate and author of two dozen books of prose and poetry, including The Turtle’s Beating Heart and A Casino Bestiary, for a reading and discussion of poetry in the era of Trump, moderated by Christian Teresi, Director of Conferences at Association of Writers & Writing Programs.
