Jim Koch - Quench Your Own Thirst: Business Lessons Learned Over a Beer or Two

Friday, April 15, 2016 - 7:00pm to 8:00pm

Koch was a successful consultant when he switched career tracks and founded Boston Beer Company in 1984. His business model struck many in the beer industry as not just innovative but unrealistic; in fact, it proved to be revolutionary. His book looks back at the craft beer movement he helped launch, and he details the steps that took Boston Beer from a start-up to a successful public company, including Koch’s use of a nineteenth-century family recipe to develop Samuel Adams Boston Lager, one of the brews that has changed how the country thinks about beer.

A selection of Samuel Adams beers will be available for sale before the event from 6.00pm, with complimentary snacks from The Den.
