James Srodes - On Dupont Circle

Always a lively part of D.C., Dupont Circle in the years just before the First World War was home to a remarkable group of up-and-coming world-shapers. One house was home to the future Supreme court Justice Felix Frankfurter and the rising political writer Walter Lippman. The Dulles siblings lived nearby, as did Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt, the writer William Bullitt, and Herbert Hoover. Srodes, author of books on Benjamin Franklin, Allen Dulles, and John Z.
