Holiday Pop-Up Concert: Reverb

Upcoming Event
Saturday, December 15, 2018 - 2:00pm to 4:00pm

Politics and Prose Bookstore and Washington Performing Arts’ Mars Urban Arts Initiative are teaming up to offer a series of holiday pop-up concerts at P&P’s flagship store throughout the 2018 holiday season. The featured performers all work and live in the D.C. area and represent a variety of musical traditions, including Latin, classical, a cappella, Gospel, and more. These events are part of Washington Performing Arts’ global programming initiative, The World in Our City, which provides perspective on what it means to be a citizen of the world through a unique arts-based lens.

Reverb is a Washington-area, award-winning a cappella vocal group who sings an uplifting blend of R&B, Gospel and pop classics as well as original songs written and arranged by group members. Since its birth in 1991, Reverb has performed along the East Coast and toured East and Southern Africa, the Persian Gulf and the Caribbean.

This event is free to attend with no reservation required.

Washington Performing Arts’ Mars Urban Arts Initiative is generously supported by Jacqueline Badger Mars and Mars, Incorporated.
