Politics and Prose is delighted to partner with the Takoma Park Maryland Library for an exciting program with local author Hena Khan.

In the second book of the series, Zara has a problem: her bike is missing, and her parents are insisting she has to earn the money to replace it herself. Together with her friend Naomi, Zara begins a business, The Treasure Wagon, selling her family’s knickknacks. Clean out the clutter and make money— a win-win! But when a mix-up causes problems, will Zara be able to follow through with her plan?

Hena Khan is a Pakistani American writer. She is the author of the middle grade novels Amina’s Voice, Amina’s Song, More to the Story, and picture books Golden Domes and Silver Lanterns, Under My Hijab, and It’s Ramadan, Curious George, among others.
