A leading educator and journalist, Wojcicki founded the Media Arts programs at Palo Alto High School and helped launch the Google Teachers Academy. Her former students include basketball star Jeremy Lin and Gady Epstein of The Economist; meanwhile, she raised three daughters, one of whom became the CEO of YouTube, another a professor of pediatrics and epidemiology at UCSF, and the third the cofounder and CEO of genetics company 23andMe. In this engaging and inspiring handbook, Wojcicki shares the five fundamental values behind these successes known as TRICK: trust, respect, independence, collaboration, and kindness. As applicable to businesses as to families, TRICK is her proven method for encouraging people to reach their highest potential.
