Debbie Reber in conversation with Randi Millard - Differently Wired: Raising an Exceptional Child in a Conventional World — In the Children & Teens Department **FOR ADULTS

Upcoming Event
Thursday, June 21, 2018 - 7:00pm

Raising a child with neurological differences can be challenging and isolating, especially in a world that demands conformity. Deborah Reber presents an empathetic guide to parenting children with "neurodifferences such as ADHD, giftedness, autism, learning disorders, and anxiety, as well as those with no formal diagnosis but who are clearly moving through the world in a unique way."  Reber, the founder of TiLT Parenting, an organization “for parents of differently wired children,” and the mother of a differently wired son, encourages readers to "tilt" their mindsets, teaching strategies to parent in ways that celebrate their children's neurodiversity instead of striving for a narrowly-defined "normal." Reber will be in conversation with Randi Millard, a Co-Founder, Business Model Youth, LLC, educator, youth workforce development, and advocate mom of differently wired kids. This is part of the parenting series.
