Carli Lloyd - When Nobody Was Watching: My Hard-Fought Journey to the Top of the Soccer World *signing

Upcoming Event
Friday, September 30, 2016 - 6:00pm to 7:00pm

Awarded the FIFA Golden Ball and the Silver Boot in 2015, Lloyd, currently playing for Houston Dash, is one of soccer’s all-time great champions. Her list of achievements includes scoring the gold-medal goals for the U.S. women’s team in both the 2008 and 2012 Olympics, and captaining the team to victory in the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup. None of this has been easy, and Lloyd’s inspiring memoir looks back to both the glory moments and the times when she felt like giving up. It’s also a testament to hard work, determination, and an equally determined trainer who helped her turn things around back in 2003.
