The sources of imagery are stored in the mind and body of every writer--always there, and yet hidden and hard to capture. Turning fleeting insights and imaginings into words that can be crafted requires a willingness to experiment. Each session will include exercises to help writers break through their own barriers; in-class writing time and discussion. Following Sessions Two and Three, the teachers will be available to discuss student’s work individually. Three Sundays: November 10, 17, 24, from 3 to 5:30 p.m.

Michaele Weissman is a journalist, author and teacher long associated with New Directions, a Washington-based writing program for psychotherapists where she co-teaches with Sarah Pleydell.
