Saturday, July 25th from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Price:
$30.00 (10 % off for members)

Join Melanie Choukas-Bradley for an online class based on her new book, Resilience—Connecting With Nature in a Time of Crisis. Melanie will share what she has discovered about enjoying nature close to home. Learn how you can enrich your life as a “forest bather” and naturalist in your own backyard. The Coronavirus crisis limits our physical horizons and slows down the pace of life. As we struggle to come to terms with this new reality, one of the best things we can do for ourselves is to get outside and tune in to the beauty and wonder around us. Melanie will share her experience as a nature book author, naturalist, and forest therapy guide, and will address your questions and comments about how your relationship with nature is changing during the pandemic. She will be joined by Ana Ka’ahanui, Co-Founder and Director of Experiential Programs for Capital Nature and a forest therapy guide. Ana will describe the growing field of Citizen Science and teach you how to use the iNaturalist App to identify the plants, birds and animals in your world. Saturday, July 25th from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
