While Design Thinking came from visual art and product design, the tools of this discipline can be amazing for writers, too. In this hands-on workshop, we'll apply a set of innovative, simple, and fun design practices to a variety of projects and prompts. We'll become stronger and more flexible writers, and we'll build the confidence we need to break through different kinds of blocks at different stages of the writing process. Whether you're working on a memoir, a novel, an essay, a story, or a screenplay — or even if you're just looking for a way to start writing for the first time — this workshop will offer you a new set of tools that will fuel your writing practice for years. This class is welcoming to accomplished and beginning writers alike.
