Sometimes getting started is the hardest part! In this workshop for beginner and intermediate writers, we’ll jumpstart writing with lots of prompts and exercises that will help to develop voice, dialogue, setting, plot, and character. We’ll do mini workshops with a few of the writing exercises as well as a more traditional workshop for longer stories. In addition, we’ll read and discuss a variety of short fiction and gather inspiration and ideas for our own writing from these brilliant stories. This class is great for beginners who are looking for some ideas to get started as well as intermediate writers who want to sharpen and focus their skills.
