Beginner Fiction Workshop Part II (1866)

Five Wednesdays: June 20, 27, July 11, 18, 25, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

$160 (10% off for members)

In this workshop we’ll do a deep-dive into character, dialogue, setting plot and other elements of fiction to bring our writing to the next level. We’ll read stories from authors such as ZZ Packer, George Saunders and Elizabeth Strout and examine what makes these stories work so that we can apply these lessons to our own writing.

We’ll have weekly craft assignments and discuss strategies and tools for revision and each student will workshop twice.
