When Politics and Prose first closed our doors to foot traffic in March because of the pandemic, we noted that becoming a member is one of the best ways to support the store—and to receive significant benefits. Now that we’ve reopened, we’re bringing back everyone’s favorite perk: the P&P member sale.
During these sales, P&P members receive 20 percent off nearly all in-store inventory. Normally, the sales run over a weekend. But given current conditions, to facilitate a safer shopping experience for customers and staff, the upcoming Fall Member Sale will be extended to an entire week. From September 11-17, come enjoy deals at P&P’s locations in Northwest DC, The Wharf, and Union Market. Not ready to shop in-person? No problem. Online and phone purchases by P&P members during the sale will receive the same discounts, provided the items selected are on our shelves and payment is provided at the time of the order. P&P member sales—with their familiar buzzing of booklovers, slinging of canvas totes, and offerings of fresh titles—are events we look forward to each season.
