Cashew, Vashew & Other Nursery Rhymes by Anita Nahal

Nursery rhymes in this book have been selected from previously published two books by the author, I Love Mummy and other New Nursery Rhymes & When I Grow Up and Other New Nursery Rhymes, published in 1993. Some rhymes are also from the author’s new collection. Simple and cute, these rhymes are endearments of a mother’s love for her child. When first written, many of the themes were suggested by the author’s then six-year-old son.

Some new ones have been inspired by the family’s current dog, Cashew’s naughty-naughty nature! A charming collection of delightful diverse nursery rhymes for teachers and parents to read aloud and share with children. The beautiful illustrations make the rhymes come visually alive. These are timeless and universal rhymes, and will appeal to children, parents, and teachers all over the world.
