Hurley spent 17 years as a performing arts manager, holding positions at Columbia Artists Management, Inc., New York Philharmonic, Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, Hartford Symphony Orchestra, and Connecticut Repertory Theatre. Following a dramatic, up close and personal encounter with anxiety-panic disorder, Mary began her own journey of healing her body and spirit using food, exercise, and improved lifestyle choices as her medicine. When personal priorities began to shift her focus away from the "crazy-busy" life of being an arts manager, she realized her passion to support others in a similar situation. Mary is now a holistic health coach and certified personal trainer, living in her home state of Connecticut. In 2013, she created Sunshine-n-Daisies.com with the mission of supporting busy people in their quest to regain control of their bodies and lives.
