Diane Buccola obtained her Esthetician license in the state of California in 1999 and achieved the prestigious NCEA Certified Esthetician credential in 2008. She opened her day spa in 2000, and while her goal was simply to be a spa owner, the bond with her clients kept her in the treatment room for 13 years. Diane eventually sold her day spa and opened a Solo Esthetics practice which allows her more time to work as an Esthetics consultant and trainer. In 2006, Diane created SpaBizBoard.com, a popular online private subscription message board and learning tool for the spa industry which she actively participates in and manages. In her continuing effort to raise the standards of Esthetics, she serves as an author and speaker on subjects related to the business side of Esthetics and is a member of Les Nouvelles Esthetiques & Spa Magazine's Advisory Board.
