Have you ever wished you could find ways other than a monologue to express the Sunday sermon? This volume will help preachers who are seeking alternative forms for presenting the life-transforming power of the Gospel. It will also be useful to Sunday School teachers, youth group leaders, worship committees, and Bible study groups.

These sermons make the stories in the Bible come alive When you read them you feel as though you are there.
Dr. Thomas Butts
Protestant Hour Preacher Monroeville, Alabama

Jerry Eckert is a master storyteller who began writing church-members' voices into story sermons. The results of this involvement on the part of the congregation became a source of joy and fascination to both young and old at sermon time.

Jerry Eckert served churches in Wisconsin between 1957 and 1995. After earning a degree in anthropology from the University of Wisconsin, he received his B.D. degree from Perkins School of Theology at SMU. In addition, he studied at Union Theological Seminary in New York City under a Fellowship and took courses in creative writing in New Orleans and Dallas. Since retiring from full-time ministry he has been engaged in various writing projects.
