Politics and Prose currently hosts more than 20 different Store-Sponsored Book Groups. All of P&P's book groups meet once a month and are free and open to the public. The evening book groups meet at the 5015 Connecticut Avenue location, downstairs in The Den Coffeehouse. The Daytime Book Group meets in our classroom space at 5039 Connecticut Ave NW, Condo #4, on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 12:30 p.m.

Two new book groups have recently formed: Bipartisan meets every first Sunday of each month at 5 p.m. and Political Philosophy book group will start in October and meet on the third Wednesday of each month.

Our Politics and Prose Wharf location at 70 District Square SW hosts The Wharf Waterfront Fiction book group which meets on the last Sunday of each month at 6:30 p.m. Two book groups meet at our Union Market location at 1270 5th St., NE: A Seat at the Table meets on the 3rd Sunday of each month at 3:30 p.m. and Oh! The Horror! meets on the 4th Sunday of each month at 11:30 a.m.

There is no need to sign up in advance; simply read the book club's selection and show up for the discussion. If you have further questions, feel free to email bookgroups@politics-prose.com or call (202) 364-1919.
