FAST FORWARD by Melanne Verveer

October 8, 2015

Melanne Verveer spoke about her book, Fast Forward, at Politics & Prose on Wednesday, October 7, 2015.

Verveer and co-author Kim K. Azzarelli, a co-founder of Cornell Law School’s Avon Global Center for Women and Justice, established Seneca Point Global, an organization built on the recognition “that women are fast emerging as one of the most powerful and influential demographics” in the world. Verveer, appointed in 2009 as the State Department’s first Ambassador-at-Large for Global Women’s Issues, is herself an example of what well-connected professional women can achieve, and she has interviewed some fifty dynamic and innovative women for this empowering look at how women are building on their economic might in order to change the world. Verveer is in conversation with Lissa Muscatine.
