Celebrate Spring with a P&P Perennial Favorite: A trip to Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater

Politics & Prose invites you to explore the wonder of Frank Lloyd Wright’s architectural masterpiece, Fallingwater, a perennial P&P favorite. Once again, we are conducting a community trip to this wooded area of western Pennsylvania, near the Maryland border, to enjoy the blossoming trees and explore the house known worldwide as a resonant feat of architectural achievement.

The group will meet downstairs at Politics & Prose at 8 a.m. for a breakfast of coffee and pastries before departing the store at 8:30 a.m. Transportation will be taken care of and there will be ample time allotted to explore the grounds, take photographs, enjoy lunch in the café, and visit the gift shop. Please wear comfortable walking shoes.

Participants might also enjoy Fallingwater: The House and Its History (Dover, $15.95), a fascinating and comprehensive guidebook with 118 illustrations.
