An Exclusive Summer Event
It’s Chicago Day at Nationals Park
on Monday, Sept. 3!
Join Politics & Prose senior book buyer Mark Laframboise, and Gary Krist, author of City of Scoundrels: the 12 Days of Disaster that gave birth to Modern Chicago, for an afternoon of burgers and baseball as the Nationals host the Cubs on Labor Day: Monday, September 3.
We’ll meet at National’s Stadium in the family picnic area* at 11:30 for lunch, followed by a 1:05 game, with left-field corner seating.
$85 includes ticket, lunch, plus $10 toward any food, drink, or merchandise that day at the stadium. Lunch includes fresh ground beef burgers, foot-long hot dogs, field green salad, watermelon wedges, kettle-style potato chips, soft drinks and bottled water. (Vegetarian burgers are available with advance notice.)
*The family picnic area is located behind the Red Porch Restaurant. Enter through the centerfield gates, go around the concourse to the left.
City of Scoundrels is available at a 20% discount for trip participants.
This trip is sold out.
