Jodi Kantor in conversation with David Brooks - The Obamas @ Sixth & I

A Washington correspondent for The New York Times, Kantor has been covering the Obamas since 2007. Her portrait of the First Family is a detailed look at what residence in the White House has meant for their personal lives, their public roles, their work, and their hopes.

This event will take place at Sixth & I Synagogue and is ticketed. Two tickets come free with each purchase of the book ($29.99) or tickets can be purchased separately for $8 each in advance of the event ($10 on the day of the event).

The Obamas will arrive from the publisher on Tuesday, January 10. Books and tickets may be collected at Politics & Prose from January 10 or 11. On January 12, all remaining books and tickets will be taken for pickup and purchase to Sixth & I Synagogue. Will call and doors open at 6 p.m. and the event begins at 7.

We are no longer accepting online orders. There will be books and tickets available at the door.

When buying online, simply use the checkout comments field to indicate that you would like us to request the author's signature at our event before shipping it to you. Event recordings on MP3 are also available online.
