David Remnick - The Bridge @ The Avalon Theatre

Using interviews and letters, David Remnick, editor of The New Yorker, tells the 44th president’s life story and traces his remarkable political journey that led to the White House. His new book was previously presented in a distilled format as a magazine profile.
Remnick will be in conversation with Michele Norris of NPR. This is a ticketed event. Two admission tickets are free with book purchase from P&P or are $10 each without purchase of the book (available at the door only). Please indicate that you would like to attend the event in the comments field when purchasing your book online.
Tickets and books will be held for pickup at the venue Will Call on the day of the event. Doors open at 7:45 p.m. and the event begins at 8:15 p.m. with General Admission. The booksigning will take place after David Remnick speaks.
Tickets for the David Remnick event are no longer available on the website or by phone. it is still possible to purchase tickets at the Avalon Theater before the event begins.

All our in-store events are free and open to the public. All event titles are 20% off for members during the month in which the author appears at the store. Click here for directions. There is ample parking available in the lot behind the store and in the surrounding neighborhood.
If you can't come to an event and still want an autographed copy of the book, you may purchase titles in advance either in the store, over the phone (202.364.1919 or 1.800.722.0790), or through our website. When buying online, simply use the checkout comments field to indicate that you would like us to request the author's signature at our event before shipping it to you. Event recordings on CD or MP3 are also available in the store and online.
