Upcoming Event
Saturday, October 29, 2016 - 6:00pm to 7:00pm
Menaker, former executive editor in chief of Random House, started his literary career as a fact checker for The New Yorker. Over the years he has collected examples of intriguing spelling and usage errors, and in his seventh book shows how mistakes can yield not only humor, but unexpected meaning. With an assist from the whimsical art of Roz Chast, Menaker finds puns, jokes, and even wisdom where none was intended.
Menaker will be in conversation with Allan Fallow, an editor at AARP The Magazine.
