This event is cancelled.

Weiner’s richly atmospheric debut novel shows the storytelling skills he’s honed so brilliantly with his work as writer and executive producer of shows including Mad Men and The Sopranos. Set among the 1% of Manhattan, the narrative focuses on the Breakstones, a family that has everything—almost. They live one floor below the penthouse, a metaphoric reminder of their failure to reach the top, but one that takes on a chillingly ominous reality when one of the workmen renovating the upstairs space develops an obsession with their daughter, Heather. As the Breakstones’ lives threaten to spin out of control, they’re forced to reckon with a world they’d barely deigned to notice.
