Alton Brown - Everydaycook
Alton Brown is the writer, director, and host of the Peabody Award-winning Food Network show, Good Eats, and the author of I’m Just Here for the Food, winner of the 2004 James Beard Award for best cookbook in the reference category. His latest book, EveryDayCook, rose from a yen to do a more “personal” project after years of hosting for TV and touring his own productions, The Edible Inevitable and Eat Your Science; the result is a collection of 101 recipes, with photos shot on Brown’s own iPhone, and tips on equipment, procedures, and ingredients. “This is the food I cook and eat on a day to day basis,” Brown says, “from morning to late at night and everywhere in-between.”
