We will open at 8 a.m. on Monday, October 12 to celebrate the release of DIARY OF A WIMPY KID #4: DOG DAYS, the latest book in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series!.  We’ll provide lots of breakfast treats, a temporary Wimpy Kid tattoo with each of the first 50 books purchased, and a grand drawing for a collector’s edition Wimpy Kid t-shirt.  We’ve even arranged for the DC schools to be closed so that you can stay home all day and read.  Ages 8-12.

Thursday, November 12, 10:30 a.m. Phyllis Reynolds Naylor Faith, Hope, And Ivy June (Delacorte,$16.99) Ivy June Mosely and Catherine Combs participate in a seventh-grade student exchange program in Kentucky. All our in-store events are free and open to the public.  All event titles are 20% off for members during the month in which the author appears at the store.  Click here for directions. There is ample parking available in the lot behind the store and in the surrounding neighborhood.
If you can't come to an event and still want an autographed copy of the book, you may purchase titles in advance either in the store, over the phone (202.364.1919 or 1.800.722.0790), or through our website. When buying online, simply use the checkout comments field to indicate that you would like us to request the author's signature at our event before shipping it to you. Event recordings on CD or MP3 are also available in the store and online.
