Monday, October 30, 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.

Location: P&P's Classroom (5039 Connecticut Avenue, Unit #7)

Price:
$50 (10% off for members)

This class will allow students to create their own micro fiction during the span of an intensive three-hour course. Composed of in-class writing prompts and feedback aimed at honing different elements of the flash fiction craft, it is open to writers of all levels. Students who choose to share their work in class (encouraged, though not mandatory) will receive constructive criticism from both their peers and the instructor. This course requires no outside preparation and is ideal for those looking to find the time in their busy schedules to fit writing into their lives—and to explore a new writing form.

Alicia Oltuski has been published in Tin House, Narrative Magazine, Catapult, W magazine and NPR’s Berlin Stories. She holds an MFA from Columbia University, where she received a David Berg Foundation Fellowship, and a B.A. and M.A. from the University of Pennsylvania.

REFUND POLICY: Please note that we can issue class refunds up until seven (7) days before the first class session.
