Teen Book Group, (4th Sunday, 3:30 p.m.)
Join the Teen Book Group!
The Teen Book Group, for 7-9 graders, meets on the 4th Sunday of each month at 3:30 p.m. Book group members participate in two activities. They read and review books that haven’t yet been published (Advance Reader’s Copies); and they choose, read, and discuss books as a group. Some of the reviews written by teens are passed along to the Children
& Teen buyers at P&P, as well as to the publishers. There are
approximately 15 members.
Next meeting: Sunday, October 23, 3:30pm
We'll be reading This Dark Endeavor, in which Kenneth Oppel imagines the events that drove young Victor Frankenstein to become Dr. Frankenstein, a madman obsessed with bringing humans back from dead. You can read an excerpt of the book on our book page, here.
