About the Author
Megan McArdle is a graduate of the University of Chicago s Booth School of Business. She worked for two failed startups and founded a shortlived business before starting one of the world s first economics blogs while working for a disaster recovery firm at Ground Zero. A columnist at Bloomberg View, she has been a correspondent for The Atlantic, The Economist, and Newsweek and appears regularly on MSNBC, Fox News, and NPR. She lives in Washington, D.C.
