Now that her ultra-charming, seriously psychopathic ex-husband, Dr. John Richard Korman (aka "the Jerk"), has been prematurely released from prison, caterer supreme Goldy Schultz has more on her plate than she can handle. Perhaps the Jerk is the one who's trying to sabotage Goldy's latest culinary endeavor, a post-funeral reception for a friend at a local lodge. But as bad as the plethora of recent anonymous threats, rumors, and violence may be, it's Goldy's discovery of a fresh corpse that really spoils the stew. Here's a murder that threatens to tear her family to pieces . . . and virtually everyone believes Goldy committed it!
Though she's been quite efficiently framed, at least Goldy is still breathing. But that may not be the case for long if she can't track down a killer who's cooking up a very nasty repast for Goldy and the people she loves.
