Politics and Prose 25th Anniversary

LITERARY PRIZE WINNERS

Friday, October 9, 7 p.m. @ GW Lisner Auditorium
MICHAEL CHABON
Manhood For Amateurs

(HarperCollins, $25.99)
Michael Chabon has appeared at P&P for three of his novels, The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay, Summerland, and The Yiddish Policemen’s Union. He was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for Kavalier and Clay, and with each visit to us his audience has grown; he is a staff and customer favorite. This October he appears for a book of essays, his first major work of non-fiction, Manhood for Amateurs. At once an autobiography and a vision of life, the book is a personal reflection on manhood as Chabon has experienced it in the roles of husband, father, and son. We are hosting this event at The George Washington University Lisner Auditorium and tickets are required. Tickets are $7, or receive two free tickets with the purchase of the book from P&P.
