Politics and Prose 25th Anniversary
Politics and Prose's 25th Anniversary
We have weathered substantial changes in bookselling and publishing and continue to flourish. We have many assets: a superb location on one of Washington’s great avenues, supremely involved and discerning customers, scores of talented writers living within blocks of the store, and a dedicated staff that cares deeply about books and the cultural life of Washington, D.C.
Politics and Prose is about creating community. Of course, communities now can be created over long distances, but people continue—perhaps more than ever—to need to meet and talk together. Our next years are dedicated to new ways to continue to learn and have fun, at once preserving what we have and growing into something new.
Join us for a season of celebration!
